Geotechnical and offshore engineering support for the development of a new Gas Network Node (GNN) platform in the Red Sea. Partnership: Delivered in collaboration with GeoProviders, combining international expertise with Coregineer's engineering capability. Services included offshore geotechnical investigations, soil sampling and in-situ testing from marine platforms, laboratory soil classification and advanced geotechnical testing, and engineering recommendations for platform foundations and anchoring systems.

The Challenge
Developing offshore platforms in the Red Sea involves complex challenges, including deep-water conditions, variable seabed geology, and strict safety and environmental requirements. The client needed a reliable geotechnical partner capable of providing high-quality data and foundation recommendations for safe and cost-efficient offshore construction.


Our Approach
Working in partnership with GeoProviders, we provided a complete geotechnical campaign tailored to offshore requirements. Seabed soil samples were retrieved and tested both on-site and in specialized laboratories, ensuring accurate data for foundation engineering. Our joint approach emphasized safety, precision, and international best practices, resulting in clear recommendations for pile design, anchoring solutions, and construction methods. This partnership allowed us to deliver a technically robust and operationally practical solution that supported PMS in moving forward confidently with the new GNN platform.
